By downloading, installing, or using Notes Expert ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Notes Expert is a note-taking application that allows you to:

• Create and manage text notes
• Record voice memos with on-device transcription
• Organize notes with folders, tags, and smart folders
• Sync notes across devices using iCloud (optional)
• Access AI-powered features with a Pro subscription

User Accounts & Subscriptions

Free Features: Most features of Notes Expert are available for free, including voice recording, transcription, smart folders, tags, search, and iCloud sync.

Pro Subscription: AI-powered features require a Pro subscription. Subscriptions are available at:

• $1.99 per week
• $5.99 per month

Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Notes Expert to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Store or transmit malicious content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Circumvent any security features or access restrictions

Your Content

You retain all rights to the notes, recordings, and other content you create using Notes Expert. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You are solely responsible for the content you create and store using the App. Please ensure you have the necessary rights to any content you record or transcribe.

Data & Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your data.

Key points:

• Voice recordings are transcribed on-device and never uploaded
• Your notes are stored locally and optionally synced via your iCloud account
• We do not sell your data or use it for advertising

Disclaimer of Warranties

Notes Expert is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

Speech recognition accuracy depends on various factors including audio quality, background noise, and language. We cannot guarantee 100% transcription accuracy.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

We recommend regularly backing up important notes and keeping copies of critical information outside the App.

Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
